The Day of Reckoning
Tomorrow, come the stroke of Midnight at our respective Time Zones, we will all start the last road to the end of our journey. We will, in due time, have the wonderful sixth book of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince, in our hands.
In the following days, we will learn if any of our respective ships will start to sail ahead of others or will be forced back by an unexpected twist of fate. Many of us have stood proud on our decks this week and many have felt motion sickness.
I'd like to remind us all that Rowling has given us our fair share of proof to support our ship, the H.M.S Harmony. It is there for a reason. It's there when Hermione hugs Harry and tells him he's a great wizard; when Harry hears Hermione's voice whispering "reckless" in his ear; when he defends her from Cho's accusations; when Hermione kisses Harry on the cheek and she tells him that he isn't a bad kisser. Many of these are recent developments from Order of the Phoenix. With two books left, these proofs must be consciously and verbally confirmed by Harry Potter and Hermione Granger in order for this development to continue down it's rightful path.
If Rowling chooses to deny further developments, then we shall continue to sail our lovely ship, proudly and dutifully, for we all know what we see in canon to be true.
Sincerely,
Grace Granger/ChasezGranger
Well, if she says so.
